We have worked on projects from various sectors of the industry from financial, educational and telco to specialized product development. Below are a few examples of projects we have engaged in.

Mobile Advertising/Marketing application

Tapestry, JPA, Spring, MySQL

We did architectural design and implemented a system used for mobile advertising. The business solution consists of an administrative back end and a Tapestry web based front end used by customers to create customized Add campaigns.

JDO and JPA implementation

Various Databases

We are maintaining a JDO implementation for a commercial Object Database vendor based in Germany and also wrote a JPA implementation, based on the JDO engine. The software product is being used extensively throughout Europe and the United States. We are responsible for maintaining critical sections of the software product.

Customs Import/Excise enterprise application

Spring, Swing, Tapestry, SAP integration

We have been part of a large project in writing a customs Import/Excise product for a Swiss based company. We were heavily involved in the overall architecture as well as implementing critical parts of the application, which is currently used by Luxembourg customs. The application integrated various SAP modules, as well as a complex rules based engine fronted by a user interface developed using Tapestry and Swing.

Customer Care enterprise application

Spring, GWT, Egain integration

We have successfully implemented integration software for the largest South African mobile service provider. We employed GWT in creating the front end and the Spring Framework for configuration and running the back end services.

Financial Bond Origination enterprise application

J2EE, Oracle, BPEL, Spring

We have been involved and maintaining software for a large South African bond originator, by providing specialized help to an in house team. We made extensive use of the Oracle suite of products, from the database, middle tier, to the front end.

Online travel web application

Spring, Tapestry, Postgress

We designed and implemented a web based, online travel application using open source technologies. The system is being used by a global customer base and is designed for high volume customer and data interactions, requiring an extremely optimized database.
